Jessica Mason, Founder and CEO
The Social Impact Studio is led by Jessica Mason, a creative, strategic, and rigorous thinker with deep experience leading innovation ventures in the social and public sector. During her career, Jessica has developed a reputation for using human-centered design to help organizations confront audacious challenges, build world-class programs, and achieve greater impact. She is known for her ability to bring deep insight and clarity to complex projects, her powerful communication skills, and for advocating the value of creative process for social good.
Jessica’s career spans a diverse range of projects and teaching engagements focused on innovation and social development in Latin America and the Caribbean, the Asia- Pacific Region, The Middle East, and North America. Prior to founding The Social Impact Studio, Jessica worked at the Center on the Developing Child at Harvard University where she directed a portfolio of early childhood innovation labs in Latin America and served as the technical expert on innovation methods. She is a certified facilitator and coach of human-centered design and an instructor at the LUMA Institute. She holds a B.A. Magna Cum Laude from Brown University, a postgraduate certificate in International Business Management from Georgetown University, and an Ed.M in International Education Policy from Harvard Graduate School of Education.
