Megan Lighty


Megan is a designer working in the areas of research, strategy, education and community engagement. Her inspirations to design are rooted in the interactions she experiences and observes everyday.

Megan was previously awarded the Taconic Fellowship through the Pratt Center for Community Development where she explored an intersection between social and environmental justice while designing with a community-based organization.

In her role with Publicolor, a non-profit youth development program, she works to educate and collaborate with NYC middle and high school students. In addition, Megan helps to sustain local food justice and volunteers with the Clinton Hill CSA and the Greene Hill Food Co-op. She holds a bachelor's in Industrial Design with a minor in Sustainability from Pratt Institute.
