Robert Watson Jr.
Rob is a social innovation and civic engagement specialist with experience in research, teaching, mentoring, and implementing community development programs in the U.S., Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay.
His work focuses on themes of youth development, civic engagement, poverty eradication, economic empowerment, and equity. Prior to his work at The Social Impact Studio, Rob was a Senior Advisor on Social Innovation to the National Government of Paraguay and a consultant with various international organizations including The Inter-American Development Bank and The World Bank. A former Peace Corps volunteer, Rob has co-founded four nonprofits working on issues related to civic participation and social justice in Paraguay, including Teach for Paraguay, part of the global Teach For All Network in 42 countries.
He holds a BA from Harvard University, a graduate degree in Poverty, Development, and Territory from the Universidad Alberto Hurtado of Chile, and is currently enrolled in the Education Policy and Management Master’s Program at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
