Shana is a leadership coach and former nonprofit executive with 20 years of experience driving results in community-based change initiatives.
At the Harlem Children’s Zone she led early childhood and parent engagement programs, and then moved on to manage the K-12 wraparound supports in HCZ’s charter and Harlem’s public schools. Most recently at PACE Center for Girls, she led a network of 19 trauma-informed schools for girls at risk of entering the juvenile justice system. She is a certified Co-Active Coach and Results-Based Facilitation Practitioner, an Annie E. Casey Foundation Children and Families Fellow, and a faculty member with Foster America.
Shana holds a BA in Political Science and African-American Studies with Honors from Indiana University, a MS in Nonprofit Management from the Milano School of Management and Urban Policy at The New School.
