Taylor is a designer, architect, educator, and maker with broad experience using design-driven approaches for activism and community engagement. She focuses on the use of design methods to promote equity in the built environment, advance individual and cooperative capacities for impact, and champion the preservation of shared cultural legacies.
With a unique ability to see and capture different perspectives, she is adept at identifying assets and resources and forming connections that facilitate the creation of authentic people- and community-centered solutions.
Prior to joining The Social Impact Studio, Taylor was the Interim Director of Programs & Initiatives at 1to1 - Agency of Engagement and a lecturer at the University of Johannesburg. She holds a BA from Wellesley College and a Masters of Architecture from the University of Illinois.
