Taylor Holloway


Taylor is a designer, architect, educator, and maker. She focuses on the use of design methods to promote equity in the built environment, advancing individual and cooperative capacities for impact, and championing the preservation of shared cultural legacies.

Taylor has led post-disaster rebuilding and skilled trades training in Haiti and the U.S.; wrote for Newcity Magazine as a Design Correspondent; and founded The Shared City Project, a built environment literacy curriculum at ACE Tech Charter High School in Chicago.

Prior to joining The Social Impact Studio, Taylor was the Interim Director of Programs & Initiatives at 1to1 - Agency of Engagement and a lecturer at the University of Johannesburg. She holds a BA from Wellesley College and a Masters of Architecture from the University of Illinois.
