HERE’S WHAT WE DID

For this project, Social Impact Studio Consulting, LLC supported Special Olympics International, in partnership with Special Olympics Pennsylvania, to conduct an assessment of accessibility, affordability, and quality of the health care system for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

To do so, we conducted background research on publicly available documentation and grey literature, conducted interviews with stakeholders, and conducted a survey with Special Olympics athletes to gather their perspective on the system.

This assessment, using the Missing Billions framework, is part of a larger global report on behalf of the Rosemary Collaboratory, in coordination with 2 additional states and 8 international locations.

HERE’S HOW WE CAN HELP YOU

We help organizations and partners translate complex data into meaningful change by providing:

  • Evidence-based research and analysis for system-level decision-making

  • Qualitative and quantitative data collection (interviews, surveys, focus groups)

  • Development of actionable Policy, Systems, and Environmental (PSE) change plans

  • Collaborative project management for multi-site or international initiatives

Our approach combines rigorous research methods with community-centered engagement, ensuring results that lead to measurable and equitable health improvements.
